Have you heard the story of the prodigal son.

There was this young man, who was proud and arrogant and never liked to work for anything. He had a rich father.. Who pampered him. The father loved his sons and would do anything for them. Well this young man one day went up to his dad, and asked him for his inheritance. Well did he deserve it? certainly not. Asking for your part of the inheritance before his father's death, was in other words, telling your father that he's Dead to you.

Well, the father was greatly grieved by this, but being the ever loving dad, gave him his part of the inheritance. Off this young man went, as soon as he got his share. He soon spent all his money on temporary pleasures and found himself broke. All his friends left him and he was left with nothing.

He was so poor that he had to eat food meant for the pigs. He regretted what he had done. He decided to go back to his father's house and ask him to take him as a servant.

When his father saw him, his father ran to him and hugged him. He then instructed the servants to cook a feast to celebrate his son's return!

This story reminds me of a father's Great Love... And Since this is Father's Day.. Happy Fathers Day to all Fathers!

Some people are born with extraordinary talents, some born with less.

There are many geniuses in this world. I've always read about 13 year old geniuses that hold 1 or even 2 university degrees, before they even qualify to legally drive a car.

I have an interesting story to share with everyone. NASA is well known for not only its high state technology, but also for its amazing abundance of talented and intelligent geniuses working there.

They come up with many innovative inventions so that man can explore outer space. Once there was a problem that astronauts faced. Astronauts found difficulty in writing with a normal pen in space because everything flows upwards in space (Lack of gravity force) .

So the many geniuses in NASA tried to come up with all sorts of ink and pen. But they never could find a solution. Then one day a young boy suggested, why not use a pencil! And that was the solution.

It didn't take a genius to think of that. Anyone could have thought of it, but it was the young boy who looked at the problem and saw the solution.

Is the Young boy more intelligent then all the geniuses in NASA combined? I would not think so. But with his simple idea, he solved the problem the astronauts faced.

As I was saying some are born with more talents than others. But should that mean those with less talents should just admit defeat and be a lesser person for the rest of their lives? The answer is No. I believe that we all live only once, and we should make the best of what we have, even though some might have only little in life.

Instead of complaining about what we are given and how unfair life is, why not start working and trying to be better daily. Yes we might keep failing. Thomas Edison is one very good example. He failed 1000 over times but he never gave up. Thanks to his determination, he invented the light bulb.

How about the Wright Brothers, Orville and Wilbur Wright . Many thought they were crazy when they shared their passion to be able to fly. Many thought they were demon possessed. How could a human possibly fly in the air? They tried and tried, and failed and failed. Many thought they were crazy and had to endure countless of insults from people around them.

But thanks to them, we now can fly all over the world and in a much shorter amount of time.

So to those who choose to believe in only what they see now, the limitations of the physical world, and choose to mock at people who are trying to pursue their dreams, you are not alone. There have been many before you who tried and failed. Everything on this earth is only temporary. Fame and fortune are determine by the heavens. Everyday, I just try to make a little diiference in a person's life, to inspire and encourage that person to start dreaming of a better future.

Life is never a smooth journey , full of ups and downs. The higher they climb the harder they fall...

Some people are blessed to be born into better off families. For others, they have to struggle with survival daily.

I'm blessed to be in a family who is never stingy at giving encouragement and moral supports even when we are not financially rich.

Recalled once when I wanna to be a champ in the cross country, I related this dream to my dad. He asked how bad I want to win the championship, and i was determined to get the trophy back. Not only my dad woke me up early at 5am, and accompanied me for the wee hours trainings. At first, I thought he was overdoing it, and I was only a kid, how can i withstand such training. But after thinking it through, if he have to wake me up at such hour, how early he had to wake up himself. Though he didnt express how he feel, but i can felt his support through actions.

There has been many awful things said on G-Force Blog tag board and other forums recently. Some nasty things have been said. But I begin to question myself too. Why did I fall in love with music? WHy do I write songs?

Was it for fame? for money? No... It was a way for me to get in touch with how I feel and to express all my hidden emotions. I've always used music to express my inner feelings, something I find difficult to express with words and actions.

The songs I write remind of what I've been through in different stages of my life, the different people who came into my life.

Music is never about competing for me. Its about sharing and giving.

I'll start writing and recording songs, and I'll be posting them on the yahoo group. It'll be to share my stories, past present and future. I hope to share the music that makes up my life, my thoughts, etc.

Thanks for all your wonderful emails and smses, phone calls and letters. Let those few who wants to criticise us be. Cause we know that it is impossible for everyone to accept us. Cause as humans , we are imperfect. I'm sure I made many mistakes in life that made many angry with me. But I also know that there are so many more of you who send us messages, emails and shower us with your support and love.

I belief that we should never do what we don't like to others, so lets not judge those who judge us, but let us be tolerant to them and show them patience, kindness and forgiveness. I know its hard, but lets focus on other things instead.

Music is my life and will always be, I don't care how many times I fail cause its not for fame or money that I want to do music. So I will keep writing and recording and sharing music with everyone.

Hi everyone, I want to thank all of you for each and every single vote. Yes, although we are not into the next round, we have not given up yet. We have the revival rounds coming up real soon.

We have already started to prepare ourselves. Now we need your support more than ever before. Now is the tough times that will build our bond stronger and closer. Champions are not those who never fail, but those who never give up.

All your tears shed, and heartaches are etched in our hearts. We will go through this next few weeks together. We will be more united than ever before. We will be build up our bonding and understand each other better.

Tough times never last. Tough people do. Lets come together and huddle together. Lets gather our strength and work towards the revival rounds. We will make it happen... Together!

Great Movie Gathering

Today was a fun day for all 3 of us. Lately, We have been so busy preparing for the Superband competition that we hardly had time to chill and relax. So this FanClub Movie gathering was very much what all 3 of us needed. A break from our daily rehearsals and to let our hair down.

We also got to know our new darlings of Vital Attraction. And of course we had lots of fun and laughter with everyone who were there.

I even got 'scolded' for coming cause I was having a fever. Thanks for your concern 'darlings', but how could I possibly miss such a fun gathering. We also won't be able to have much time in the coming weeks so I really wanted to attend the movie gathering. I promise to take medicine and rest more :p

We watched Ice Age 2. It was really funny and I laughed through out the entire show. After the movie, we went to Macs to sit and chat.

Time really flies and in a few days time, Superband will be starting to air on TV. The competition will be in full swing. Before the competition really starts to take up all our time, we would like to have one last gathering where we could all get together and have a great time. So we are organizing a one day Chalet on This Sunday, April 9. Due to Space constraints, please confirm your place by emailing maybelyn as we can only expect 40 people that day.

We're already looking forward to having a great time on Sunday! So do email Maybelyn asap so that we can prepare the Food and drinks for everyone.

2 more days to Big Jam.. Today was the full dress rehearsals of Big Jam and it was a great time. Though the rehearsal stretched for hours, it seemed as though time was just flying past us without us noticing.

What surprised us most was to see the Darlings of Vital Attractions at MediaCorp waiting for us. Besides them, Joanne was there too. Not only were they there to lend us their support, they bought us some presents as well. We were really surprised by their thoughtfulness and effort. THanks so much for everything. We took some photos of us enjoying our presents...

Its been a long while since we last updated this blog. But thanks for all the encouraging support, messages and tags to keep this blog very much alive.

Its no big secret that all 3 of us love to style our hair very much. And we usually spend a considerable amount of money every month to maintain and keep it in 'Shape'.

We're into Top 18!

Yesterday was an exciting day for us. It was results day. We met up on Sat night to have a chat with each other. We all did not know what to expect and who to expect. We agreed that no matter what happens, we have already tried our best for every round and so we'll go down to the results show to have a great time and soak in the atmosphere.

Both Jeremy and I were a little late and so when we reached, there were a huge crowd of people there with the super host music blasting from the speakers. We met up with Ben and then proceeded to take our seats in the 'Hot Oven' (waiting place). And thus began the long wait.

It was made much easier by the entertaining show the super host finalists put up. We had a good laugh and we even have our favourites among the 3 of us. One of the finalist was Jeremy's School mate. They all had the gift of the Gab and could really think and speak really fast.

Finally the moment arrived and we could all hear our heart beat faster and faster. One by one, the bands were being unveiled, but our number was not called. My heart began to fail me, I think it skipped a few beats. Well finally a ray of hope. the Numbers 1...3... ___.. 0 appeared on the boards.. 1 more number surely it had to be 8! I held my breath... and when it was revealed, it turned out to be 0 and not 8!

I literally felt my heart break into pieces.. It was the 15th band out of the 18th places.. we had only 3 more chances... then the same thing happened... the numbers 1...3... ___...0 appeared. This time I had no courage to even hope. I just kept breathing. That moment, wlthough lasted only for a few seconds, felt like eternity to me.

When it was finally revealed and our number 1380 was being flashed on the boards, I heaved a huge sigh of relief. We did it! We did it! Was all I could think of.

After the result show, we had the chance to chat with a group of our fans, whom are very warm and friendly. We are also proud to announce that we also have our official fan club in the midst of being set up by 3 of them. I hope that everyone that supports us can be take part in the fan club.

All of us will be actively helping to set it up to and I look forward to exciting times ahead. They have many fantastic ideas and we are excited to work them out step by step. I'll be posting the details up soon so do join and lets all build up this fan club together.

Lastly, we are featured on Today newspaper. I'll be scanning it in later but if you want to read about it, do try to grab a copy.

Happy Chinese New Year ! We're on 8 days!

Hi everyone, Happy Chinese New Year! Gong Xi Fa Cai and Nian Nian You Yu! I've been repeating this phrase so many times that it practically rolls of my toungue evrytime I meet someone now.

But it never fails to bring a smile to the person so I don't mind saying it to everyone.

Well we resumed our rehearsals again during the 3rd day of Chinese New YEar. WE went over to Ben's House, where both Jeremy and I got a big Ang Pao from Ben's parents. Thank you auntie for the generous Ang Pao.

We've been getting alot of encouragement and messages from friends during the new year period. Many of them messaged us after they saw the trailers of superband on Channel U. I have yet to catch it yet though.

I don't know how many of you read last weeks 8 days. If you've read it, you might have spotted us in the superband article.

WE're into the 2nd Round

We're through to the next round of auditions. Its finally begun and the journey is going to be tough but exciting. We've crossed the first hurdle and we're approaching the next one. Thanks to all who came down to lend us your support.

We also made our first 'TV' appearance together. We were on news. Its so cool, but all of us missed it. It was only when friends started to message us that we realized we were on. And we look forward to more 'air time'

Holidays are over. Time really never waits for anyone. 2 weeks have just flew by us and now, its back to work for all 3 of us.

I have been having a bad throat infection for the past week. No amount of Strepsils and lozangers has helped me. I went to see a doctor this morning and found out that I have a really bad throat infection. Well, I am under a special antibiotic now and have to go back to check the progress tomorrow.

So I am on 2 days MC, Which means an extension of my 'holiday'. But well I really want to recover before Sat. I've just taken my medicine and feel much better already.

This Sat will be an interesting day. It'll be G-force's first public performance. I am looking forward to it and also to having start the whole process of auditions.

Yes we've had a huge make over for our blog! Its still a work in progress so do drop us sugesstions at our tag board.

Some pages to look out for is Jermy's very own Food Recommendation page. Jeremy seems to know where all the good food are located at. Ben and I felt that he would make a good food Host so if you need food tips, Jeremy's food page would be interesting.

Superband is not more than 2 weeks time. How far will G-force progress will depend on how much we have prepared for it the past week and for the next 2 weeks.

No one can be fully prepared for any competiton. We have been preparing daily for G-force's 1st battle, superband competition. There are many different preperations before a battle, but the most important battle is if we are prepared mentally to fight till the end. To fight together for every round.

It'll not be easy, definitely not. But I know all 3 of us will never give up. We will always believe in each other and work hard for every round. That's what G-force is all about.

Jonathan here posting G-force's very first post. Many might not know us yet, but I believe that will change in the near future.

G-Force comprises of 3 members. Benjamin, Jonathan and Jeremy.

Why G-Force?

G-Force Stands for Gravitational Force. Gravity is a strong force that pulls everything on earth to the center of the earth. We hope that G-Force will be able to attract everyone towards us through our Music, Dance and other aspects of G-Force's repertoire.

G-Force is embarking on a long journey. 3 young aspiring entertainers with the shared vision, passion and desire starts on this journey. We hope that through our Journey, more and more will share our vision, passion and music... Together.
